It’s spring, which means it’s the perfect time to weed, edge and cultivate your gardens. While these tasks are not the most pleasant for some of us they are an essential part of keeping your gardens looking beautiful year round.
If your garden is not mulched you’ll need to cultivate it. This simply means that you’ll use a hoe or a rototiller to break up the soil before planting.
For your spring flowering shrubs and trees, wait until they have flowered before pruning. Some examples of spring flowering shrubs are; lilacs, serviceberry, magnolias, flowering dog woods, forsythia and rhododendrons.
If you’d rather not weed, edge and cultivate your gardens, we’d be happy to help you! Contact us by phone or email today to book an appointment.
